Happy St. Patrick's day !
To celebrate, I am posting a great article about the color Green.
This article is from the The Artist's Magazine and will be appearing in their June 2017 issue, but you can read it now in the Art Tips tab.
You will find this article helpful in our upcoming flower painting class as we paint leaves.
If you do not already subscribe to the magazine, you might want to consider doing so. Each issue is only $2.40 with a subscription.  The address to subscribe is: http://subscriptions.theartistsmagazine.com/The-Artists-Magazine/Magazine

Hello,  I want to remind you that Spring classes will begin next Tuesday - the 21st of March.
We still have snow on the ground, but we will be painting beautiful Spring flowers .  Flowers are one of my favorite subjects to paint.
We usually meet at 1pm, but this 6 week class will be meeting at 1:30 and will go till 4:30 pm.
For more information and to register please go to www.greensburgartcenter.org.

An interesting artist you may want to check on the internet is Bill Inman.  He has posted a free video which I have included in my Art Tips tab above.  Enjoy.

My painting  "Copper and Peaches"  (seen on home page"  has been sold to a lovely lady,  Anita.

An update on our November workshop at GAC with Tina Garrett :  5 people have already submitted their registration fees and will be assured a seat.

I have entered the Dick Blick  pet portrait contest.  If I am  lucky enough to win, I will donating the prize to GAC for their children's classes.  I hope if you like my painting, you will vote for it by going to : http://bit.ly/2lhxhGr

I am looking forward to our 6 week Spring class which will start on March 21.  We will once again be painting beautiful flowers - Spring flowers  and/or roses.  Registration has already begun and I am anxious to see some of my current and former students for this class.  We had such fun last Fall painting sunflowers.
